Isaiah 43:19
As a cancer patient, it is easy to find yourself bitter and frustrated with the process of cancer and the waves of changes you go through along the way. It’s easy to find yourself mad and angry at all the challenges you may face. But God is working it out through it all. Despite everything you’ve gone through, he has a plan for you. Even in oppression! The Israelites had been slaves in Egypt before the Exodus, they would cry out to God and again he would hear and deliver them. A new Exodus would take place through the new wilderness. The past miracles were nothing compared to what God would for his people in the future. He takes the worst and makes it wonderful. He takes ashes and makes it something beautiful. We can’t forget or change our past medical challenges but we can turn to God and embrace the new thing he is doing in us and through us. My prayer is that I awaken each day taking notice of the great things he is already doing in my life and praise him anyhow. What better place to be than in the arms of God and trusting and believing that he will take care of it all! Let us not intervene in Gods judgement, let us not dwell on the things we cannot change, and look on to what’s ahead. God is doing a new thing and preparing you for something far greater than you can ever imagine trust him.
