Motivation

Motivation-Feeding the positive dog-Talking yourself into good behavior.

It’s all in how you see it (perspective) when you look back and think you were failing you are actually growing and becoming. You have a choice, you can dwell on the past or you can look beyond and make the next opportunity great. It’s all in how you view the circumstances.

Tell yourself a positive story -change the story to a story of strength, perseverance , resilience, courage , faith , hope, and love . The stories we often tell ourself will determine how we respond to the adversity of life . When obstacles happen you change your pathway to reach your goal but do not change your decision in striving to get there! We are human we are allowed to be sad and mad even but we can‘t mellow in the emotions for too long because we have a greater purpose. Life often knocks us down but those who stay down we refer to as victims but those who get up , press on, put on the armor of optimism, courage, faith, hope, those that are ready to take a higher action to create a better and brighter future will call themselves thrivers. Even though we hurt we can still be hopeful!

So I encourage you to take on your next challenge or opportunity. You can either be the embrace the wave or resist the wave of change.

We often say the struggle is real but so is your ability to overcome it. We can rise above any circumstance. Life can be hard but God gave us the strength to fight. A mentor once said , “Greatness isn’t born through easy circumstances, it happens when things in the world become harder!”

All in all, we have to tell ourselves a different story that determines the life in which we live!!!

Galatians 6:9 tells us “Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”. God made no mistakes on my journey, I had to realize God had a bigger plan for my life just like he does yours. We just have to trust him. It’s up to us to lead in faith and be fearless of what it is God is taking us through. Then, you will reap a harvest but it’s in his time and not ours.
